Matching Stationery

Over the last week I have been busy making lots of samples for potential customers and answering ALOT of emails. I love receiving new requests and being given the chance to come up with something new to play with.

With my two new table plans I created last week for showing off at wedding fayres, I decided to make matching invitations and place settings to go with them. I think couples need to see how all their stationery can look together. I feel it gives off a good impression.

So firstly... I will show off my beautiful Rose creations.

I made three matching invitations in a wallet, pocket fold and cheque book with the same theme so I can show people how the same design can look but in the different style:

I then have my place settings with a standard place card and a favour box:

Menus, Table numbers and Table Plan:

And then my teal with round buckle sliders.

Save The Dates:

Wallet, pocket fold and cheque book invitations:

Place Settings and Favour Boxes:

Table Numbers and Table Plan:

I am currently working on another matching set with one of my customers. Sirena had the purple pocket fold invitations with heart buckle slider. I have made a table plan and favour boxes to accompany them, but there will also follow and guest book and post box so I shall blog about those next time.

Table Plans

So recently I have been getting more interest in my table plans.

I was first commissioned to help Colette who wanted a table plan for 13 tables that didn't cost the earth. My business was only just taking off, and being naughty before I started officially adverting with Wedding Ideas, I sneaker her a private inbox message and she contacted me. She wanted a red themed table plan with butterflies. A few months later and within 4 week of her Wedding, I received the email from Colette with her table numbers and names.
I was really happy with how the plan turned out. For a first commissioned table plan, it went well. And here is the result:

A few weeks later, I was SOS messages by Sami, asking if I could do her a table plan even though she was to be married in 3 weeks time. Her colour scheme was lemon yellow, silver and ivory, again with butterflies.
I have to say, I was scared by these colours as yellow is sometimes one colour I find hard to play with. But I needn't have worried. It turned out so much better than I had ever expected.
Here is the result for Sami's table plan:

I then had the lovely Sirena's table plan to commission. Sirena was one of my first big orders with her invites, and once she'd sent and received her rsvp's she'd contact me again for all the added extras.
I took the table plan down the exact same route as her invitations. A cadbury purple colour scheme with diamante heart buckle sliders. I also have some matching favour boxes to make but with it being a bank holiday, I am still waiting on them to arrive before I can get started.
Here is Sirena's table plan:

With a free morning after creating 22 Save The Dates, I decided to make a couple of smaller table plans to show off and to also have to hand when I do some wedding fayres. This is one thing I am really wanting to do, but with my job of flying, it almost makes it impossible, But where theirs a will, theirs a way.

I got my inspiration for my first table plan from the Save The Dates I created on this morning. I LOVE teal as a colour, I find it so vibrant and pretty. Not only that, it was my wedding colour too :D
I added some glamour with round buckle sliders and here is the finished item:

My second show off table plan gained inspiration from a font I received from a good friend. Samantha of Samantha's Papercuts has been a huge support. We followed one another's journeys through our wedding planning on the Wedding Ideas Forum. This lady is extremely talented and always offers encouragement. She sent me a beautiful font type to use. She used this on her own wedding stationery, so found a bit of theme in teaming it up with her wedding colours also, pink and green. It's very Country Garden/Tea Party themed table plan and I seriously love it. It may be my favourite to date!!!!
And here is she is:
